• As Head of Design at the fintech lender, Avant, I create the UX strategy for credit card, lending, and banking experiences on both web and mobile.

• Led efforts to establish and roll out a new design system across multiple digital channels.

• I hire and manage a team of in-house and contract designers. I've helped lead a customer-experience transformation involving establishing voice-of-customer interviews, a cross-department CX forum, and rolling out Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) philosophy.

Director of Product Designer, Oct 2017–Feb 2022

• Led the company's product design practice. Recruited and hired a team of 12 designers, who are embedded inside a matrixed team structure. I've established processes for user research, design systems, performance reviews, team design principles, and user experience metrics.

• Oversaw the creation and maturity of Kyper, the MX design system, over 2.5 year period.

• Worked closely with CPO on developing product strategy, customer discovery, and new product innovations. Regularly prepare Product presentation materials for the MX Board of Directors and other critical internal meetings. Run cross-functional design workshops with stakeholder teams, including MX Client Advisory Board.

Product Manager, Jun 2017–Jul 2019

• Led a cross-functional team on a consumer-facing money management application for web and mobile banking. In 2019, led the team to build and launch a new product line.

• Integrated and deployed products at hundreds of innovative bank and credit union clients. During my tenure, our team scaled the product by many millions of consumer users.

• Advocated for and implemented product design system and internal adoption of WCAG accessibility standards.

Senior Product Designer, Jul 2015–Jun 2017

• Advocated for and helped build the company design system, documented standards, and worked with the engineering team on implementation.

• Completed a responsive redesign of the entire MoneyDesktop application and worked with engineering on the strategy for rollout.

• Designed and launched the MX Cash Flow feature, which won Best in Show at Finnovate Fall 2016.
